When will I get an application decision?

At Colorado State University, we review undergraduate applications on a rolling basis, which means we evaluate applications as they are received, versus waiting to evaluate all applications after a certain date.

Typically, decisions are made within four weeks after a complete application has been submitted, though it may be earlier or later based on your applicant type and the time of year.

How will I know my status?

We will notify you of our decision through email first. Freshmen and transfer students also will receive a printed, official admit packet, which usually arrives by mail two to three weeks after admission.

You also can check your application status online in nearly real time using our applicant and student portal, called RAMweb. Your application checklist might change as we review your application, so you’re encouraged to check your status at least once a week.

To check your status:

  1. Activate your NetID. Within two days of submitting your application, you’ll receive an email with instructions to activate your electronic identity.
This email may be routed to your spam or promotions folder, especially if you are using Gmail. Check your spam folders and make sure @colostate.edu is set up as a safe sender.
  2. Wait for confirmation.
As soon as you activate your NetID, you can log in to RAMweb, but it may take up to an hour to access your application status page while our systems sync. We’ll send you a confirmation email when the process is finished.
  3. Log into RAMweb using your NetID.
  4. Look for the Admissions section.
  5. Click on “Admissions Dashboard” in the Admissions section.
